The lack of Pacific books at her local library inspired her to create her own. Author and educator Dahlia Malaeulu is on a mission to help connect tamaiti (children) to their Samoan culture through reading.
We were luckily enough to be able to host Dahlia right here at WPS and bonus…. It was Samoan Language Week.
This week, at WPS we observed Road Safety Awareness Week. Throughout the day, we engaged in various activities at different stations to promote road safety. One of the highlights that excited us the most was the opportunity to bring our own wheels to school (hooray!).
