This week we were learning about coding
- I found it really easy to piece all the bits together to get my character to move (Niko)
- I loved picking the music to go with my dancing character (Emeline)
- I needed some help to get my cat to move. Miss Johnson had to come and help me to get it to move. It was easy after I figured it out (Angeline)
🌴 🇨🇰 Cook Island Language Week 🇨🇰 🌴
All week WPS students have been learning about the Cook Islands culture as part of their Cook Island Language Week Celebrations.
On Friday was our Celebration Assembly. Lots of children from RM11 were apart of the Junior Pasifika Group

A Very Special Guest – Duffy Assembly
The lack of Pacific books at her local library inspired her to create her own. Author and educator Dahlia Malaeulu is on a mission to help connect tamaiti (children) to their Samoan culture through reading.
We were luckily enough to be able to host Dahlia right here at WPS and bonus…. It was Samoan Language Week.
